Last Wednesday we started our new interclub season in the 2nd league in the third group 203 of romance of which we have never been part until now.
So we went to Neuchâtel to face Neuch 4. They have 1 team in 1st league and 3 in 2nd league!!! So it's a big club with intentions to set up an extra team in the first league.
Our opponents arrived in strength with 4 girls and 4 boys and they shouted their team slogan: Go Team – Neuchâtel Champion !!! It put us in the mood right away... and actually, we did give everything and we took a 0-7 beating.
There's just Fred who managed to get a set from our opponents.
We returned to Lausannne by the cantonal road because the motorway was closed by night!
Here, we'll try to do better next week.
